Gillard to announce referendum on local government - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Amazing 4 months from a foregone general election and the PM wants to waste money on a referendum which will also fail. I've no idea what the issue is and it is not exactly grasping anyone's attention that perhaps Local Government is not recognised - could I ask actually go to High Court and not pay my council rates.
